A man was taken into custody following an alleged attack at the Ohio home of Vice President JD Vance, as reported by a major news outlet on Monday.
At the time of the event, Vance and his family were not present in their Cincinnati residence.
Authorities do not believe the individual managed to enter the house, and they are looking into whether he intended to target Vance or his family.
Images shared on social media indicated damage to the windows of the property, although the cause of this damage remains unclear.

According to Anthony Guglielmi, a spokesperson for the US Secret Service, the unidentified man was detained for causing property damage, specifically breaking windows at a residence linked to the vice president.
The incident occurred shortly after midnight.
Guglielmi added that the US Secret Service is working alongside the Cincinnati Police Department and the US Attorney’s Office to determine potential charges.
