Dubai: Reports indicate that key figures in Iran's security apparatus, including the commander of the Revolutionary Guard and a prominent adviser to the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, have been killed in airstrikes conducted by the United States and Israel. This information was disclosed by state media on Sunday.


The Iranian news agency IRNA confirmed the death of Maj. Gen. Mohammad Pakpour, who had assumed leadership of the Guard following the assassination of its previous commander during a 12-day conflict last June.


Additionally, Ali Shamkhani, a long-standing figure in Iran's security framework, was also reported dead, according to IRNA.
