Recently, there has been another shooting incident near the cafe owned by Bollywood comedian Kapil Sharma in Canada. Alongside this, Kapil has been receiving threatening messages warning him to shut down his cafe. The messages indicate that if their demands are ignored, more severe actions could follow.

Previous Shooting Incidents

It is noteworthy that Kapil Sharma opened his restaurant, named Caps Cafe, in Canada not long ago. However, shortly after its opening, the cafe became the target of gunfire. The first shooting occurred on July 10, 2025, where the assailants fired 910 rounds, shattering the cafe's windows. This attack was claimed by Harjeet Singh Laddi, a known Khalistani terrorist, who has connections with other major gangs. A second shooting incident took place on August 7, followed by another in October 2025.

Kapil Sharma's Response

Kapil Sharma had previously addressed the situation humorously, mentioning that the police were investigating the matter and that things operate differently there. Now, with yet another shooting reported near his cafe, it remains to be seen whether Kapil will comment on this latest incident. Recently, he has been in the spotlight due to his upcoming episodes. The latest episode of his Netflix show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, features stand-up comedian Samay Raina and podcast host Ranbir Allahabadia.
