IDF's Ongoing Operations in Gaza

Jerusalem: On Monday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the destruction of 14 kilometers of underground tunnels located in the Northern Gaza Strip.

The IDF reported that the Northern Brigade, along with the Yahalam unit under Division 252, has been engaged in a focused operation aimed at dismantling Hamas' subterranean infrastructure, particularly in the Beit Hanoun region, which lies east of the Yellow Line.

As part of this operation, the forces have successfully eliminated around 14 kilometers of tunnels, uncovering sleeping quarters and a significant cache of weapons during their ongoing mission to secure the area.

In recent months, the Northern Brigade has reportedly neutralized approximately 70 militants who breached the ceasefire and posed a direct threat to IDF personnel.

Additionally, the IDF has revised its defense strategy based on an assessment from the Home Front Command. The new guidelines impose a gathering limit of up to 1,500 individuals in the confrontation line guidance area and in the settlements of Meron, Bar Yochai, Or HaGanuz, and Safsufa.

The IDF has also targeted various military installations associated with the Hezbollah terrorist group that posed risks to Israeli forces. This includes an attack on a facility that served as Hezbollah's headquarters in the Bint Jbeil area, where secondary explosions were detected, suggesting the presence of munitions.

The IDF confirmed, "The Israeli army has initiated strikes against Hezbollah's infrastructure in the Bekaa Valley and other regions in southern Lebanon."

Last week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu directed the IDF to intensify its assaults on Hezbollah targets within Lebanon.
