Breaking News from Tehran

Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has reportedly been killed in airstrikes conducted by the US and Israel, as confirmed by Iranian state media.

The strikes also claimed the lives of four of Khamenei's family members, including his daughter, grandchild, and son-in-law, according to a report from Fars News Agency on Sunday.

Former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to announce Khamenei's death, describing it as a pivotal moment for Iranians to regain control of their nation.

Trump referred to Khamenei as one of history's most malevolent figures, stating, "Justice for the people of Iran" has been served, along with justice for Americans and others affected by Khamenei's regime.

He asserted that Khamenei could not evade US intelligence and advanced tracking systems, emphasizing that he and other leaders killed alongside him were powerless.

Trump further claimed that many members of Iran's IRGC and military forces are now reluctant to engage in combat and are seeking immunity from US forces, reiterating a previous warning: "Now they can have Immunity, later they only get Death!"

He also stated that the impact of Khamenei's death has significantly devastated the country in just one day.

Before Trump's announcement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hinted at Khamenei's demise, noting, "many signs indicating Khamenei is no longer," while confirming that Khamenei's compound had been destroyed.
