On Friday, Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi met with European diplomats in Geneva. His visit to the Swiss city comes in the wake of a recent week marked by Israel's military actions against Iran.

As reported by various news sources, Araghchi is set to engage in direct discussions with the foreign ministers from the UK, Germany, and France. Prior to these talks, he made it clear that Iran would refrain from any negotiations with the United States until Israel ceases its military operations.

UK Foreign Secretary Darren Lammy expressed optimism regarding the potential for a diplomatic resolution. Before traveling to Geneva, Lammy held meetings with US Foreign Secretary Marco Rubio and US Envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff.
