Iran's Firm Stance Against US Aggression
Iran has issued a strong warning to the United States, cautioning against any ground military actions within its borders, labeling such moves as a red line. The Iranian military has indicated that any aggression would lead to unexpected retaliation, as reported by the Tasnim news agency. This warning follows hints from the US regarding a potential ground invasion after a series of attacks that began on February 28, when the US and Israel launched a coordinated strike against Iran, targeting key figures including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
In response, Iran has retaliated against various Gulf nations, including the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Recently, Iran attempted to strike the US-UK base located in Diego Garcia, situated 4,000 kilometers away, by launching two ballistic missiles, one of which was intercepted.
Iran's Warning on Energy Infrastructure Attacks
The Iranian military reiterated that a ground invasion would cross a significant threshold. They emphasized that previous attacks on Iranian energy facilities had repercussions for the entire region. A military source stated, "If the terrorist Trump makes a mistake, we will have a surprise for him that he won't be able to recover from." They further warned that any destruction of Iranian territories could lead to severe consequences for coastal areas in the UAE, particularly Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Speculations on US Military Plans
Recent reports suggest that the Trump administration is contemplating strategies to extract nuclear materials from Iran. While the timing of any military operation remains uncertain, discussions have focused on deploying forces from the Joint Special Operations Command, known for handling sensitive missions. Amidst these tensions, Trump has stated that the US is not pursuing a ceasefire, asserting, "We can have dialogue, but I don't want to do a ceasefire. You don't do a ceasefire when you're literally obliterating the other side."
