Renewed Search Efforts for Missing Nancy Guthrie

On the 25th day since Nancy Guthrie was reported missing, investigators revisited her home in the Catalina Foothills. At approximately 9:15 AM local time on February 25, two investigators arrived at the residence, with one backing a truck into the driveway before entering the house. About half an hour later, several SUVs appeared, and around six FBI agents were spotted on-site. Numerous investigators were seen both inside and outside the home, taking photographs and examining the area near the entrance. This marks the most significant activity at the property in recent days.

In a recent update, Savannah Guthrie, co-anchor of 'Today,' revealed that her family is offering a reward of up to $1 million for information that could lead to the safe return of her 84-year-old mother, who has been missing for over three weeks. In an emotional video shared on Instagram, Savannah urged the public to continue praying for her mother's safe return, expressing hope for a miracle. She acknowledged the possibility that her mother might be lost or gone.

Following the announcement of the reward, the FBI's tip line received over 750 calls within just 12 hours, according to a senior law enforcement official. Additionally, the Guthrie family plans to contribute $500,000 to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, with Savannah stating that many families endure similar uncertainties. Michelle DeLaune, the organization's CEO, noted that the family's generous donation would help raise awareness for numerous cases that might otherwise go unnoticed.

A source close to the family indicated that they were initially prepared to offer a reward but were advised against it due to potential overwhelming of the systems managing incoming leads. The reward was announced after careful coordination with law enforcement. The $1 million offer is specifically for Savannah's recovery and is not contingent upon an arrest or prosecution, and it can be split if multiple valid claims arise. Former FBI supervisor Jason Pack suggested that this reward could prompt individuals with knowledge of the situation to come forward.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Office previously stated that they believe Nancy was taken from her home against her will, potentially during the night, indicating the possibility of kidnapping or abduction.
