India's Stance on Terrorism During DGMO Discussions

India is gearing up to convey a firm message to Pakistan regarding terrorism during the upcoming discussions at the Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) level. These talks will also outline future actions concerning the ceasefire. Sources informed a news media outlet that the meeting between the military operation directors of India and Pakistan has been postponed to after 4 PM. The last DGMO conversation took place on May 10 at 3:35 PM, which led to the establishment of a ceasefire, temporarily halting the hostilities that had been ongoing for several days. During that period, India responded to drone and projectile attacks from Islamabad on Indian military bases and civilian areas across the Line of Control and international border by destroying 11 airbases in Pakistan.

High-Level Meeting on Current Situation

In the meantime, Prime Minister Modi convened a crucial meeting with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Chief of Defense Staff Anil Chauhan, and the heads of the Army, Navy, and Air Force to discuss the current situation. Pakistan's actions have come to light following India's Operation Sindoor, initiated on May 7. This operation involved targeted air and missile strikes on terrorist bases and launch pads in Pakistan's Punjab and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, avenging the brutal terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where terrorists based in Pakistan killed 26 tourists.

Indian Airspace Fully Operational Again

Indian airspace is now fully operational for commercial flights following the reopening of 32 airports.
All NOTAMs (Notices to Airmen) related to the closure of these airports have been officially rescinded. The Indian Air Force (IAF) has issued directives that signal a complete return to normal aviation operations in previously restricted areas. This move is expected to alleviate congestion in air traffic and provide relief to both domestic and international airlines.
