India's Strong Response to Mali's Tragedy


New Delhi: On Tuesday, India expressed its strong condemnation of a series of terrorist attacks in Mali, extending condolences for the loss of the nation's defence minister.


General Sadio Camara, Mali's defence minister, tragically lost his life in a bombing incident close to Bamako, the capital.


The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) conveyed, "We offer our heartfelt condolences to the families affected and stand in solidarity with the Government and people of Mali during this challenging period."


The statement further expressed, "We sincerely mourn the passing of General Sadio Camara, Minister of Defence and Veteran Affairs of Mali, due to this heinous act of terrorism."
