In a remarkable T20I match held at Udayana Cricket Ground in Bali on December 23, Indonesian pacer Gede Priandana achieved a historic milestone. Indonesia secured a 1-0 advantage in the eight-match T20I series by defeating Cambodia by 60 runs.

Indonesia set a target of 168 runs, scoring 167/5 in their 20 overs. The Cambodian team was bowled out for 107 in just 16 overs, with Priandana leading the bowling attack, recording outstanding figures of 5 wickets for just 1 run in a single over. Anjar Tadarus and Danilson Hawoe also contributed with two wickets each, ensuring a solid victory for Indonesia.

Gede Priandana's performance was particularly noteworthy as he became the first player in T20I history to take five wickets in a single over. This remarkable feat occurred when Cambodia was in a strong position, needing 62 runs off 30 balls. During the 16th over of Cambodia's innings, Priandana took a hat-trick by dismissing Shah Abrar Hussain, Nirmaljit Singh, and Chanthoeun Rathanak, followed by two more wickets, sealing the victory for Indonesia.
