Viral Video Ignites Epstein Rumors

A man from Florida, known as “Palm Beach Pete,” has responded to a viral video that led many to speculate about the possibility of Jeffrey Epstein being alive and driving in South Florida. The footage, which gained significant attention in March 2026, features a man in a convertible, sporting sunglasses and a white baseball cap worn backward. Captured from another moving vehicle, the driver's striking resemblance to Epstein quickly fueled discussions online, with many questioning if the deceased convicted sex offender had somehow survived.

In response to the viral sensation, the man featured in the video clarified, “I’m not Jeffrey Epstein; I’m Palm Beach Pete.” He expressed surprise at being filmed, stating, “My video went viral because someone randomly recorded me while I was driving, and I had no idea until it blew up.”

Sharing his thoughts on The Nicky Gordo Show, he remarked, “This whole situation is incredible. I was just driving down I-95, minding my own business, and suddenly, my phone starts blowing up.”

The video has circulated widely on social media, with various users commenting on the striking resemblance. While some speculated about the possibility of it being Epstein, others dismissed the notion, citing the context. Despite the rampant speculation, there is no credible evidence to suggest that the man is Epstein. Authorities have previously confirmed that Epstein passed away in his jail cell in 2019, with his death ruled a suicide. Fact-checkers have also verified that the viral video features an unidentified driver from South Florida who merely resembles Epstein. Similar claims have emerged in the past, including a viral image that was later identified as AI-generated, allegedly showing Epstein in Israel.
