Pakistani Forces Eliminate Terror Threats


Karachi: In a significant operation, Pakistani security forces have successfully neutralized four terrorists in the Kalat district of Balochistan.


The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that these individuals were killed during a targeted raid on their suspected hideout.


Just last week, the ISPR announced that security forces had eliminated at least 17 terrorists across three intelligence-led operations in Balochistan, specifically in the Kalat, Kohlu, and Panjgur regions.


Additionally, a report from the Islamabad-based Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS) highlighted that 2025 has emerged as the most lethal year for terrorism in Pakistan, with a staggering 2,115 casualties recorded.


The report detailed that 664 security personnel and 580 civilians lost their lives due to terrorist activities, indicating a troubling rise in violence characterized by increased intensity and fatality, marking the highest levels of security threats in recent years.
