A Grand Celebration of Women’s Achievements


DHARAMSHALA - The Navjeevan Foundation, a prominent organization dedicated to social service, marked International Women’s Day with a significant event at Narwana Heritage. The celebration honored nearly 50 remarkable women from various sectors for their exceptional contributions to society.


The event featured Nagendra Singh Rawal, the BJP’s Organization Minister, as the Chief Guest, accompanied by his wife Mamta Rawal. He expressed his congratulations to all women present and praised the Foundation’s initiatives, emphasizing its role in empowering women to assert their rightful positions in society.


Also in attendance was Sudhir Sharma, a notable BJP leader and MLA from Dharamshala, who served as the Guest of Honour. He commended the Foundation for its ongoing efforts to promote awareness of women’s rights and committed to being more actively involved in future projects. He extended heartfelt wishes to women throughout Himachal Pradesh on this special day.


The Chairperson of the Foundation, Mrs. Shakun, shared the organization’s achievements, noting that over 12,000 active members are part of the Navjeevan Foundation. She reflected on the organization’s 11-year journey, built on the love and trust of women, and reiterated the mission to ensure that every woman has access to her rights.
