BCCI Unveils India A Squad for Sri Lanka Multi-Day Matches
India A Squad Announcement
On Saturday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) revealed the India A team set to compete in multi-day matches in Sri Lanka. Dhruv Jurel will captain the squad, with Devdutt Padikkal serving as vice-captain for the two unofficial Test matches against the host nation.
Both matches are scheduled to take place at the Galle International Cricket Stadium, with the first match commencing on June 25 and the second on July 2.
Auqib Nabi Dar, who excelled in the last Ranji Trophy season by taking 60 wickets and significantly contributing to Jammu and Kashmir's championship victory, has been included in the touring party. Additionally, opener Ayush Pandey from Chhattisgarh and Aman Mokhade from Vidarbha have also been selected.
The spin department will be managed by Saransh Jain from Madhya Pradesh, along with Zeeshan Ansari and Harsh Dubey. The pace attack will be led by Gurnoor Brar and Anshul Kamboj, supported by Nabi and Yash Thakur. Narayan Jagadeesan will serve as the designated wicketkeeper alongside skipper Jurel. Young talent Shaik Rasheed is also part of the squad.

Updated India A Squad for Tri-Series
Previously, the squad for the white-ball tri-series was announced, which will include India A, Sri Lanka A, and Afghanistan A. All matches in this series will be held in Dambulla.
Following the limited-overs matches, the tour will transition to Galle, where India A will face Sri Lanka A in two multi-day matches as part of their red-ball training.
