White House Comments on Potential US-Iran Discussions


Washington: On Wednesday, the White House indicated that discussions regarding in-person negotiations with Iran are still in the preliminary stages, stating that "nothing is final."


When asked if US Vice President JD Vance would attend the anticipated US-Iran talks scheduled for later this week in Pakistan, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt clarified, "While there are talks about in-person meetings, no decisions will be confirmed until the President or the White House makes an official announcement."
