Orange-Carrot Oats Ka Kheer

This is a nice twist to the type of pudding we usually eat but the best part about it is that oats are included in its making, the dish instantly becomes incredibly healthy for all age groups.

Ingredients:-

  1. Roasted Quaker Oats
  2. Skimmed milk
  3. Grated carrots
  4. Green cardamom
  5. Orange zest
  6. Chopped Almonds
  7. Honey (optional)

Method:-

  1. Roast 15g Oats.
  2. Boil 300ml skimmed milk.
  3. Add grated carrots & simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Add roasted Quaker Oats & stir.
  5. When Kheer thickens, add honey (optional), cardamom powder and orange zest.
  6. Cook for a few minutes, stirring constantly.
  7. Add chopped almonds and serve hot.

Classic PB&J Oatmeal

Nothing beats a good PB&J sandwich but just imagine incorporating that same feeling and flavor into your Sehri meal in the form of a good old oatmeal. Well, it doesn't get any better than that.

Classic PB&J Oatmeal

Ingredients:- 

  1. Unsweetened Milk or Plain Water
  2. Your favourite peanut butter
  3. Oats
  4. Brown sugar
  5. Kosher Salt
  6. Strawberry Jam or any other jam that you fancy

Method:-

.Start by cooking the oats in water or milk (totally based on your preference).
.Once the oats are cooked, separate them into two bowls.
.Next, add the peanut butter to the first bowl and then the jam to the second.
.Once done, take a large bowl and add both sets.
.Add kosher salt and brown sugar before mixing the whole batch to keep the flavors balanced and voila.
