Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Ramayan star Sunil Lahri gets an invite, thanks Ramanand Sagar for making him Lakshman

Inauguration of Ram temple is a big and special event for Indians. We are all waiting for this big moment. It is going to be a grand event and many big politicians have been invited to Ayodhya for it. Apart from politicians, big stars like Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Chikhlia, Kangana Ranaut, Akshay Kumar, Randeep Hooda and others have been invited for the Ram Mandir Janmabhoomi event. TV actors who played different roles in Ramayana have been invited and one of them is Sunil Lahri. He played the role of Lakshmana in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana.

He recently expressed his disappointment about not getting an invite but now he finally got one. He expressed his happiness through a video on Instagram. He thanked God and his fans who prayed for him to get an invitation and now he got it. Speaking to Etimes, he said that Lord Rama's blessings helped him get the invitation.

He thanked the Ram Mandir Committee and said that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and no one will get another chance. He thanked Ramanand Sagar for allowing him to play the role of Laxman in the now history-making show. He was asked if anyone could match him as Lakshmana. He said, "If the producer is able to bring out a performance like Ramanand Sagar, who helped me immortalize Lakshman." Sunil Lahri's costars Deepika Chikhalia and Arun Govil were earlier invited to the inauguration of the Ram temple and were the only ones not invited. At that time he expressed disappointment and hoped that he would also get an invitation. He said that maybe the committee feels that Lakshmana is not important in Ramayana or they don't like him.
