Today, the team behind ‘Jailer 2’ took to their official X account to announce that the film's release date remains unchanged.

In a recent post, Sun Pictures reassured fans that ‘Jailer 2’ is set to premiere on October 15, as initially planned. The message included a caption stating, "We are coming to create a storm on October 15."

The film's launch is strategically timed with the Dussehra festival, which is expected to contribute to a strong box office performance during its opening weekend.

Directed and written by Nelson Dilipkumar, ‘Jailer 2’ serves as a sequel to the highly successful 2023 film ‘Jailer’. The original featured Rajinikanth and Ramya Krishnan in leading roles, and both actors will return to portray their characters as a married couple in the sequel. Additionally, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa, and Rithvik will reprise their roles from the first film.
