The group consisted of members Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Seok Matthew, Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Taerae, Kim Gyuvin, Park Gunwook, and Han Yujin. Like many groups born from survival shows, ZB1 was initially a temporary project. Their contract was set for two years and six months, concluding in January 2026. To accommodate promotions and tours, all members agreed to extend their contract by two months, pushing the end date to March 2026. The remaining five members decided to continue promoting as ZEROBASEONE, citing a strong bond of trust.

They have now returned to their original agency, which has announced plans for future individual or group activities for these members.
