Zelina Vega has been making waves since her transition to WWE SmackDown in early 2025. For the first time, she has been recognized as a solo star, clinching the women's United States Championship shortly after WrestleMania 41. Coincidentally, her husband, Aleister Black, made his return to WWE on the same night.
Now that both are part of WWE SmackDown, they travel together, allowing them to share their personal lives with fans. Although WWE currently lacks reality shows, Vega is eager to explore this avenue.

Zelina Vega expressed her excitement about working alongside her husband on WWE SmackDown and her interest in participating in a reality TV show. In a conversation on the Lightweights Podcast, she shared her enthusiasm for giving fans a peek into their lives, which she believes is less mysterious than many assume.
“Yes, I actually want to do one with my husband. I feel like there’s so much that people don’t expect when it comes to him and I, like us having 10 cats for instance,” Vega stated.
“There’s just certain things that people would expect. My husband and I, we get tattooed when we’re on the road. There’s just certain things I feel like people would like to kind of peel back the curtain a little bit.”
A Glimpse into Their Life
Zelina and Aleister Black, who married in 2018 after meeting in WWE, have maintained a relatively private life compared to other wrestling couples. After a period of separation in their careers, they are now reunited on WWE SmackDown, and Vega believes their life is filled with engaging content.
During the post-WrestleMania 41 episode of WWE SmackDown, Vega triumphed over Chelsea Green to secure her first singles title in WWE. This victory coincided with Aleister Black's return to the company after his contract with All Elite Wrestling ended.
