CM Yogi Adityanath Attends Wedding Reception
On Tuesday, Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath graced the wedding reception of Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav and his bride Vanshika at The Centrum Hotel in Lucknow.
Sharing a moment from the event on X, CM Yogi expressed, "Today, I participated in the post-wedding reception ceremony of Indian cricketer Shri Kuldeep Yadav Ji, and offered blessings to the newlyweds."
Star-Studded Celebration in Mussoorie
Kuldeep and Vanshika exchanged vows on Saturday, March 14, at the Welcomhotel The Savoy in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. Viral videos from the celebration featured former cricketers Suresh Raina and Mohammad Kaif, along with current players Yuzvendra Chahal and Rinku Singh, enjoying the festivities.
The couple had previously gotten engaged in a private ceremony in Lucknow last June, attended by close family members.
Wedding Celebrated After T20 World Cup 2026 Victory
The wedding took place shortly after Team India's impressive performance at the T20 World Cup 2026, where they triumphed over New Zealand in the finals to secure back-to-back titles.
The final match, held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on March 8, saw India score a formidable 255 runs, with notable contributions from Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Sanju Samson. New Zealand struggled in their chase, getting bowled out for 159 runs.
Kuldeep Yadav participated in just one match during the World Cup, facing Pakistan and achieving figures of 1/14 in 3 overs.
Kuldeep Shares Joy Over Team's Success
After India's victory in the T20 World Cup 2026, Kuldeep Yadav expressed his joy, highlighting the significance of the win for the team. In a statement, he remarked, "This is an important victory. The tournament went very well for us, and we have been preparing for this for a long time. Winning the trophy is what we aim for in every ICC tournament. I congratulate the team and thank the fans for their support. I am particularly happy for Sanju Samson, who performed exceptionally well."
