WWE Evolution 2025: A Night of Women's Championship Matches
The highly anticipated all-female premium live event, WWE Evolution 2025, unfolded at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, last night, featuring a series of championship bouts. The event showcased the defense of all major women's titles from the Raw, Smackdown, and NXT brands, alongside two mid-card title matches for the women's tag team and intercontinental championships.
The event kicked off with a thrilling Triple Threat Match where Becky Lynch (c) successfully defended her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. Valkyria, a standout in the match, aimed to reclaim the title she once held.
The match concluded dramatically with Bayley executing a Bayley-to-Belly on Valkyria, who then countered with a Nightwing on Lynch. Bayley followed up with a Rose Plant on Valkyria, but Lynch managed to roll up Bayley for the victory, marking her second successful title defense since winning the championship at Money in the Bank last month.

WWE Evolution 2025: Tag Team Champions Hold Their Ground
Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, representing Judgment Day, successfully defended their Women’s Tag Team Championship at WWE Evolution 2025. They triumphed over three other teams in a Fatal-4-Way match, which included WWE NXT’s Sol Ruca and Zaria, WWE Raw’s Asuka and Kairi Sane, and WWE SmackDown’s Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
Ruca made an impressive entrance into the match, delivering a Sol Snatcher to Flair, but soon found herself in a confrontation with Bliss, who attempted a Sister Abigail. Ruca countered, but was inadvertently taken down by a spear from her partner, Zaria.
Seizing the opportunity, the champions took control as Rodriguez eliminated Bliss from the ring, while Perez executed a dive to take out Flair. Back inside the ring, Rodriguez executed the Tejana Bomb on Ruca, allowing the Judgment Day duo to retain their titles in what was their first defense as a team.
