After a hiatus of nearly seven years, WWE Evolution 2025 is set to return, promising another exciting all-women's event. Scheduled for just over a month from now, anticipation is high, although some wrestlers have expressed doubts about the event's potential success.

The first Evolution event took place in October 2018, demonstrating that WWE's female talent could successfully headline a premium live event. While it didn't achieve significant financial success, it garnered praise from both critics and fans, paving the way for WWE Evolution 2025.

Triple H Discusses the Long-Awaited Return

The inaugural Evolution event also set the stage for the first-ever women's main event at WrestleMania 35. Reflecting on the time since the last event, Triple H expressed his excitement for WWE Evolution 2025 during a post-show press conference for Money in the Bank.

“I’ve wanted to do Evolution 2 since Evolution 1; probably before we even did it, I was already trying to figure out how to do Evolution 2. For a lot of different reasons, the timing wasn’t right but now it is. I’m thrilled to be able to do it again and the truth is as amazing as the women in our business were then, it’s grown exponentially,” said Triple H.

He further noted that both the men's and women's rosters have expanded significantly since 2018, with some current stars having been fans during the first Evolution. With a larger talent pool now available, it will be challenging to accommodate everyone at WWE Evolution 2025.

“The biggest trick we’ll have is how do we build that card out and have that many women in and try to fit as many people into that card because everybody’s gonna want to be a part of it and we want to make sure that everybody gets to do something there. So, that will be the trickiest part.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)

Veterans Support the Return of WWE Evolution

Natalya Neidhart, a long-time WWE veteran, has also praised the upcoming WWE Evolution 2025, asserting that the current talent pool is capable of supporting an all-women's weekly show. As the longest-serving member of the WWE women's roster, she is enthusiastic about the event's return and credits Triple H for making it happen.
