Vedangi Cherukattu Bids Farewell to Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8
In the most recent elimination round of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8, wildcard contestant Vedangi Cherukattu has exited the competition. Her journey, which began in the fifth week alongside fellow wildcard entrants Nilina Elizabeth Joseph, Suvarna Pulthukkiyil, and Vipin Das Nair, has come to an end.
After her eviction was announced, Vedangi spoke with host Mohanlal, expressing that she had put forth her utmost effort during her time in the house. Her departure comes amid a series of contestant changes, following a significant mass elimination event.
Shifting Dynamics Within the House
Before entering the show, Vedangi was known as a social media influencer and content creator. She made a notable entrance on Day 28, quickly identifying fellow contestant Rahul Easwar as a key figure for debate, which led to several heated exchanges between them. Vedangi often challenged Rahul’s opinions, prompting him to respond in kind.
As time went on, their relationship evolved into a complex friendship that caught the attention of other contestants. Despite raising concerns about Rahul’s behavior and suggesting he was trying to manipulate her, Vedangi maintained her interactions with him throughout her stay, showcasing a dynamic that fluctuated significantly.
Context of the Season and Future Competition
The eighth season of Bigg Boss Malayalam, which debuted on Asianet on September 6, 2026, and is available for streaming on JioHotstar, has been characterized by a tumultuous atmosphere. Vedangi's entry followed a major shake-up in the house, which resulted in the exit of several participants, including Sreelakshmi Arackal, Jaseela Parveen, Sumesh Chandran, Rakesh Jacob, Loletta Loryne Rodrigues, and Gayathri Suresh.
With Vedangi's departure, attention now turns to the remaining contestants and how her absence will affect the dynamics in the house, especially concerning her former ally, Rahul Easwar. The competition continues under the watchful eye of host Mohanlal as it progresses into its next stage.
