Shraddha Kapoor Spotted Enjoying a Movie Date

Shraddha Kapoor is set to star in the upcoming film Eetha, directed by Laxman Utekar. While she is busy promoting her latest project, she recently took some time off to enjoy a movie outing with her rumored boyfriend, Rahul Mody, in Mumbai. The couple attended a screening of Akshay Kumar’s Welcome To The Jungle, and a video capturing their joyful moments has gone viral on social media.

Shraddha Kapoor and Rahul Mody Enjoy Welcome To The Jungle

In the viral clip, Shraddha Kapoor and Rahul Mody are seen laughing heartily during a comedic scene in Welcome To The Jungle. Seated next to each other, they appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the film, which is currently performing well at the box office.

Shraddha and Rahul have reportedly been dating for a while, often seen together around the city. There are rumors suggesting they might be planning a wedding in Udaipur, although neither has confirmed their relationship publicly.

Understanding the Eetha Controversy

Shifting focus back to her film, Eetha draws inspiration from the life of the famous Tamasha/Lavani dancer Vithabai Narayangaonkar. The teaser has received a warm reception online, but the Maharashtra unit of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has formally requested the filmmakers to change the title. They argue that a biopic about Vithabai should include her actual name, a sentiment echoed by the late artist's family.

Babasaheb Patil from the NCP has sent letters to director Laxman Utekar and Maddock Films, urging them to rename the film from Eetha to either Vitha or Vithabai. The filmmakers have yet to respond to these requests.
