The film has generated significant buzz among audiences and is considered one of the most anticipated releases of the year.
Earlier this year, the production team welcomed Hindi actor Neil Nitin Mukesh into the Malayalam film scene.
Prithviraj, who stars as the lead in this gripping narrative centered on gold smuggling, extended his birthday wishes to Mukesh, stating, "Happy birthday Neil Nitin Mukesh! Welcome to the Malayalam film industry! #KHALIFA."
In Khalifa, Prithviraj portrays Aamir Ali. Last year, he had shared a sneak peek video of the film on his birthday.
He mentioned, "A revenge forged by a lineage that spans generations! Next Onam... Aamir Ali will write his vengeance in gold! #KHALIFA – The Ruler."
The teaser opens with a news report revealing the discovery of a massive gold smuggling operation linked to the Middle East, with connections in London, Nepal, and Kerala.
An interrogation scene features an elderly man being questioned by a customs officer named Panicker, who warns him that Aamir is finished and can be arrested anywhere in India. Panicker attempts to intimidate him by referencing the COFEPOSA act.
The interrogated individual responds, "Do you know how the COFEPOSA came into being?" The teaser showcases thrilling action sequences featuring Prithviraj.
The character explains the historical context of the COFEPOSA act, linking it to notorious figures from the past and challenging the official to capture Aamir, hinting at explosive consequences.
The video reveals that Prithviraj's character, Aamir Ali, will be central to a thrilling narrative filled with intense chases and stunts.
Prithviraj had completed filming his segments in the UK last August.
