In a video shared on her Instagram story, Ekta Kapoor stated, “I often update fans about Naagin, and I posted something yesterday without realizing it would stir such excitement. Initially, we planned to wrap up in April, but at the channel's request, we will now conclude on my birthday, June 7. While we didn’t intend for any Naagin season to be limited to just 30 episodes, we have decided to extend this one to 48 episodes, and we will return next year.”
Ekta also confirmed that the next installment of Naagin is set to premiere in 2027, with plans for shorter seasons to allow her to focus on other projects. She elaborated, “To ensure Naagin returns every year, we should consider shorter seasons, which will help me manage my time better and pursue additional projects. Since this season is already extended, we will continue airing for another six months. To come back next year, we will need a break.”
