What’s Brewing in Bollywood? The Ranveer Singh and Don 3 Saga Unfolds!
The Ongoing Drama Surrounding Ranveer Singh and Don 3
In the ever-evolving landscape of Bollywood, the situation involving Ranveer Singh and the film Don 3 continues to capture attention, drawing in various industry stakeholders including FWICE and CINTAA. Recently, Kangana Ranaut came to Ranveer's defense, suggesting that with success comes scrutiny. In response, Ashoke Pandit, a key figure at FWICE, criticized those commenting on the issue without understanding the full context. He clarified that the federation's concerns are not directed at Ranveer personally but are related to broader professional responsibilities.
Ashoke Pandit Responds to Kangana Ranaut
During an interview with HT City, Ashoke Pandit addressed the growing reactions from industry personalities regarding the ongoing controversy surrounding Ranveer Singh and Don 3. He noted that many celebrities have criticized FWICE without fully grasping the situation. "Kangana made a statement yesterday. We are not understanding the entire issue, and people are just commenting," he stated.
Pandit also addressed Kangana's remarks directly, asserting that she was uninformed about the specifics. "Kangana claimed I have been banned by the industry. I replied, 'You speak without knowledge, which is why I distanced myself from you.' I am indifferent. There is a significant issue within the industry that you are unaware of. You are merely making statements," he explained. He reiterated that FWICE is 'not against Ranveer' and that their stance should not be misconstrued as a personal attack.
Kangana's Perspective on the Situation
Pandit's comments came after Kangana Ranaut spoke during the trailer launch of her film Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata. When asked about the non-cooperation directive against Ranveer, she compared it to her own experiences in the industry, stating, "You are asking me, I have faced bans from everyone!"
Kangana suggested that rising success often attracts criticism and opposition. "Today, Ranveer Singh should consider how many adversaries he has," she remarked. She encouraged him to maintain a positive outlook and view challenges as opportunities for growth. Reflecting on her own career, she noted that despite facing numerous hurdles, she ultimately triumphed and continued to thrive.
The conflict stems from Ranveer Singh's decision to exit Don 3. FWICE reported that producer-director Farhan Akhtar raised concerns about the financial implications of Ranveer's departure after significant pre-production work had been completed. Following this, FWICE issued a non-cooperation directive against him. However, the federation has consistently stated that this action should not be interpreted as a ban. As of June 3, FWICE has lifted its non-cooperation directive after Ranveer issued a legal notice.
