This impressive figure lays a solid groundwork for its opening-day earnings in the domestic market. The morning screenings have wrapped up, revealing a national occupancy rate of 26%.

Chennai has emerged as the leading city for the film, achieving a remarkable 55% occupancy during the morning shows. Close behind are Kozhikode with 49% and Kochi at 41%. Given the favorable word of mouth, it is expected that the film will maintain its momentum throughout the day.

Based on the pre-sales gross of 2.78 crore and the morning show attendance, "Athiradi" aims for a net collection of approximately 5 crore at the Indian box office, including premieres. Although this figure may not reach "Aadu 3’s" 5.95 crore, it is likely to exceed "Vaazha 2’s" 4.75 crore, positioning "Athiradi" as a strong contender for the third-largest opening in Mollywood this year, following "Patriot" and "Aadu 3."
