Chennai: The highly anticipated thriller 'Baby Girl', directed by Arun Varma and starring Nivin Pauly, is set to premiere globally on January 23, 2026.

Nivin Pauly took to Instagram to share the exciting news, stating, "Baby Girl Hits Cinemas Worldwide From Jan 23, 2026. @babygirlmovieofficial."

In this film, Nivin Pauly portrays a character named Sanal Mathew, a detail previously revealed by the film's creators.

Last year, on Nivin Pauly's birthday, director Arun Varma unveiled a motion poster, hinting at the film's intriguing narrative. He expressed his wishes for the actor, saying, "In every silence a storm brews….Presenting Nivin Pauly as Attendant Sanal Mathew. Wishing our leading man a fantastic year ahead. HAPPY BIRTHDAY NIVIN PAULY. Baby Girl in theatres soon!!"

It begins with a police officer communicating updates back to headquarters via walkie-talkie, followed by the introduction of the four main characters. Abhimanyu Thilakan is confirmed to play a police officer, while Lijomol Jose, recognized for her role in 'Jai Bhim', and Sangeeth Prathap, known for 'Premalu', are also featured. Nivin Pauly's character is revealed last, creating a sense of anticipation.
