Mumbai: Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for her new film, 'Param Sundari', which features Sidharth Malhotra alongside her and is scheduled to premiere around the time of Ganesh Chaturthi.
The promotional team for 'Param Sundari' is actively marketing the film across various regions in India. Recently, Janhvi and Sidharth were spotted in northern India, where they engaged with fans by dancing to their film's popular track. The pair also enjoyed local delicacies like Chole Bhature and Rajma Chawal, much to the delight of onlookers.
During the promotional events, Janhvi showcased her style in an elegant saree, complemented by subtle accessories and makeup. She shared moments from her trip to Delhi on social media, simply captioning it as “Dilli.”
For those unfamiliar, 'Param Sundari' is a romantic comedy that explores cultural differences, set against the picturesque landscapes of Kerala. The recently released trailer highlights the charm of the two cultures, featuring scenes of monsoon-soaked roads, bike rides through backwaters, and historic churches.
The storyline revolves around a Delhi boy, portrayed by Sidharth, who falls for a girl from Kerala, played by Janhvi, leading to humorous cultural clashes.
The film's producers, Maddock Films, shared the trailer with the tagline: “Dilli ka munda Param is bringing full-on Punjabiyon ka swag aur siyappa to Sundari’s God’s Own Country! In addition to Janhvi and Sidharth, the film features a talented supporting cast including Renji Panicker, Siddhartha Shankar, Manjot Singh, Sanjay Kapoor, and Inayat Verma. The film's technical team includes cinematographer Santhana Krishnan Ravichandran, editor Manish Pradhan, and music by Sachin–Jigar. Directed by Tushar Jalota, 'Param Sundari' is set to hit theaters on August 29.
