When Riteish mentioned that filming would begin the following month, Salman immediately asked, "What role do I have in it?" Riteish was caught off guard but Salman insisted, "You can’t create a film without me. I was part of your last film, I was in your first film - now I must be in this one too, whatever it takes."
Riteish expressed his heartfelt appreciation for Salman's support, noting that it took about a month to finalize the role to ensure it would enhance the film's appeal. Historically, Jiva Mahale is known for protecting Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at a crucial moment, and Riteish had always envisioned this sequence as part of the climax.
