What Really Happened in Nushrratt Bharuccha's Controversial Video? The Truth Revealed!
Nushrratt Bharuccha Celebrates IPL Win Amid Controversy
Nushrratt Bharuccha, a devoted fan of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, was thrilled about their second consecutive IPL win on Sunday (May 31). She took to Instagram Stories to share a video, which soon sparked confusion among viewers. The clip, which was later deleted, included peculiar background noises that led to wild speculation online.
After the video was posted, Nushrratt quickly removed it, but not before the internet began to theorize about the strange sounds. To clarify the situation, she later shared another post on Instagram, explaining that the noises were not inappropriate but rather the sounds of her friend's puppy.
Clarification on the Background Sounds
Nushrratt explained that the puppy was whimpering during the video recording. She stated, “Some people have taken it too far. A puppy's whimpering has caused such a stir, and someone has even issued a false statement on my behalf. So here's the truth... I was watching the match at my friend's house, and their young puppy was making these crying ‘sounds'. This is the video created by my friend at the same time with the same sounds from a different angle.”
In another Instagram Story, she added, “This is the house where I was watching the match. This is the puppy. This is a video from that very night a little later. Anticipating exactly what has occurred, I was advised to remove that video, and I complied. People, please temper your wild imaginations! Having a mobile phone does not justify harassment. Do not misinterpret or follow blindly. Think and act responsibly!”
Nushrratt Bharuccha Addresses False Claims
She also responded to a fabricated post that claimed, “That voice is NOT mine. That was my cat's voice, and I genuinely didn't notice it while posting. It got uploaded by mistake.” Nushrratt expressed her disbelief at how quickly people jumped to conclusions, stating, “One accidental post and suddenly everyone becomes a detective.”
She urged her followers to avoid believing every rumor they see online, emphasizing that not everything needs to be turned into a conspiracy theory. “Peace, love, and a little less negativity on the internet. It's amusing how a few seconds of audio can keep the entire internet occupied for a day,” she concluded.
On the professional front, Nushrratt was last seen in the 2025 film Ufff Yeh Siyapaa and the Amazon Prime Video release Chhorii 2.
