Box Office Triumph of 'Peddi'


New Delhi: The film Peddi, featuring Ram Charan, has achieved remarkable success, grossing ₹366 crore globally.


Directed by Buchi Sana, this sports action drama hit theaters on June 4 and stars notable actors like Shiva Rajkumar and Janhvi Kapoor.


The production company Vriddhi Cinemas announced the impressive box office figures on their official X account on Tuesday. The film debuted with a staggering ₹135.36 crore and accumulated ₹236.7 crore over its opening weekend. The post proudly declared, “#Peddi is SOUTH INDIA’S NO.1 GROSSER OF 2026. Collects a gross of over 366 CRORES WORLDWIDE in 9 days.”




Set against the backdrop of rural Andhra Pradesh in the 1980s, Peddi narrates the story of a villager from a lower caste who embraces wrestling to gain respect and recognition for his community.


The film also features performances by Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani in significant roles.
