Box Office Success of 'Ikkis'

The film Ikkis, starring Agastya Nanda, has made a remarkable debut, grossing over ₹20 crore within its first three days of release. This film, which hit theaters on January 1, is produced by Maddock Films under the direction of Sriram Raghavan.

The screenplay is a collaborative effort by Raghavan, Arijit Biswas, and Pooja Ladha Surti. In Ikkis, Nanda portrays the character of Khetarpal, a young soldier who sacrificed his life at just 21 during the Battle of Basantar in the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War. His bravery earned him the Param Vir Chakra, making him the youngest recipient of India's highest military honor.

As per the filmmakers, the total earnings of the movie have reached ₹22.05 crore at the domestic box office. Alongside Nanda, the cast includes the late Dharmendra, Simar Bhatia, Vivan Shah, Sikandar Kher, and Jaideep Ahlawat in significant roles.
