A New Chapter in Gujarati Cinema

Marking a significant milestone, a well-known production company is set to enter the realm of Gujarati cinema with its upcoming film, Dhabkaaro. This project not only continues a legacy spanning 75 years but also holds deep personal and historical importance. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala shares that his grandfather, A.K. Nadiadwala, initiated his film career with a Gujarati movie, making Dhabkaaro feel like a return to their roots. This familial connection adds a layer of emotional depth to the film, emphasizing the significance of cultural heritage in the producer's life.

Dhabkaaro is the first Gujarati film from this production house. To promote the film, Sajid Nadiadwala, along with director Abhishek Shah and actors Deven Bhojani and Aarjav Trivedi, traveled to Ahmedabad. During their visit, they met with Gujarat's Chief Minister, Bhupendra Patel, where they unveiled the film's new poster alongside a special logo celebrating 75 years of Gujarati cinema from their production house, marking this occasion in a memorable way.

Even prior to its official release on May 1, Dhabkaaro has created significant excitement. The film had its premiere in international locations like Kenya and South Africa, along with a special screening in Mumbai that attracted prominent figures such as Aamir Khan, Shefali Shah, and Ashutosh Gowariker, all of whom gave positive feedback. The early reactions suggest a strong interest in the film's storyline and its cultural relevance.

Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Abhishek Shah, Dhabkaaro is produced in collaboration with Harfanmaula Films and The Moving Manch, with Dipti Jindal as the associate producer. This film not only honors the production house's 75-year legacy but also highlights the increasing interest in regional storytelling within the Indian film industry.

As the release date nears, anticipation builds for May 1, when audiences will see how this full-circle moment unfolds on the big screen. The excitement surrounding Dhabkaaro reflects a larger trend of embracing regional narratives, promising to enhance the cinematic landscape.
