New Delhi: The film 'Metro…In Dino', helmed by the renowned Anurag Basu, has garnered an impressive Rs 9.5 crore nett at the Indian box office within its first two days of release.

Starring a talented ensemble including Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkana Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, and Neena Gupta, the movie hit theaters globally on Friday.

As per data from the tracking platform Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 6 crore nett on its second day, following an opening day collection of Rs 3.5 crore.

Additionally, the film has made Rs 1 crore from international markets over the same period, bringing its total domestic box office earnings to Rs 11.40 crore. The worldwide box office total for 'Metro…In Dino' now stands at Rs 12.40 crore.

This film explores the complex relationships of four couples in a modern context and serves as a sequel to Basu's earlier work, 'Life in a… Metro'.

The original film, released in 2007, featured the late Irrfan Khan, Kay Kay Menon, Sharma, Kangana Ranaut, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, and Shiney Ahuja, with Sharma being the only actor to reprise her role in the sequel.
