In a candid conversation, Sohil expressed his surprise at the unexpected plot twist. He remarked, "I thought, 'Oh no, if this happens, viewers are going to have a strong reaction.' And that’s the feedback I’m receiving now; they are enjoying it." He acknowledged that the show has garnered generally positive responses, including for his character.
Reflecting on the tragic end of his character, he stated, "Honestly, if anyone resembles Parth, it should conclude in that manner. I was thrilled to be in that moment and recreate those scenes. I anticipated it would be remarkable. Hats off to the team, the entire crew, and our director, who flawlessly brought that to life. It was a wonderful experience."
For those who may not know, Nandini killed her son Parth after witnessing his attempt to harm his wife Vaishnavi. In that particular episode of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, Nandini confronted Parth about his actions against his partner. The main reason for Parth's return was to reclaim the property and unite the family. He was a loving child. However, over time, it became clear that he was after the property."

He concluded by saying, "Because for so many months, you portray a kind character, and then suddenly, you have to change direction and dive into that mindset. I truly enjoyed embodying this role."
