The mansion featured five bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, and an outdoor cabana, but it also came with a chilling reputation that prompted Cox to sell it shortly after. Carole King, the previous owner, had cautioned Cox about the house's alleged haunting, a situation that arose after a tumultuous divorce that occurred there. Initially, Cox was skeptical, even as friends visiting the home claimed to have seen a woman sitting on the edge of a bed.
