Shreya Ghoshal Teams Up for a Special Track

Renowned playback singer Shreya Ghoshal is gearing up to provide her enchanting voice for a unique track written by Javed Akhtar for Vikram Phadnis’ forthcoming film. The lead actress, Saiyami Kher, shared her enthusiasm, noting that every actor dreams of having a song by Ghoshal in their filmography.

During the recording session for Phadnis' untitled project, Saiyami had a memorable encounter with the celebrated singer. She expressed her admiration, stating, "I have always been a huge fan of Shreya and consider her a friend. It’s a dream for every actor to have a Shreya Ghoshal song in their film, and witnessing her magic in the studio was an unforgettable experience."

Director Vikram Phadnis confirmed that enlisting Shreya was part of the original vision for the film. He remarked, "When Javed saab crafted the lyrics and Himesh composed the melody, Shreya was the unanimous choice. This song required a soulful touch to connect with audiences, and we wouldn’t settle for anyone but Shreya."

Phadnis expressed satisfaction with their decision, stating, "We are thrilled we waited for her, as the magic she has infused into the track is something that will resonate with everyone."

Details about the film's title and plot remain undisclosed. Under Phadnis' direction, Saiyami will share the screen with Tahir Raj Bhasin.

Recently, Saiyami completed filming for Haiwaan, featuring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, directed by Priyadarshan. The film, which also stars Sharib Hashmi, was shot in stunning locations such as Kochi, Ooty, and Mumbai, and marks the reunion of Akshay and Saif after 18 years.

Previously, Saiyami appeared in Jaat, directed by Gopichand Malineni, alongside a talented cast including Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, and others.
