Vivek Agnihotri's Tribute to PM Modi and the Indian Armed Forces
Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri recently expressed his admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the Indian army, and the citizens of India through a heartfelt message on his X account. This tribute coincides with the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, which is centered around India's military response to terrorist activities in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The operation was initiated on May 7, 2025, following a tragic incident where 26 tourists were killed in Pahalgam’s Baisaran valley due to their religious beliefs, an event that shocked the global community.
Vivek Agnihotri Reflects on National Unity
In his note, Agnihotri emphasized that India has demonstrated to the world that while peace is inherent to the nation, silence should not be mistaken for weakness. He expressed his respect for the courage displayed by PM Modi and the Indian army, stating, “Today, I bow my head to the courage of our leadership led by @narendramodi and our brave army and the spirit of every Indian who stood united in a moment of national resolve.”

He remarked that the world remembers what was defended and sacrificed to uphold humanity. He concluded with a poignant statement: “History remembers wars. Civilisations remember courage.” Along with his tribute, he shared a clip of PM Modi’s speech and highlights from Operation Sindoor, ending with the message, ‘A Nation’s Resolve Coming Soon.’
