His performance in the Netflix series Glory, where he portrayed Inspector Arvind alongside notable actors like Divyenndu, Pulkit Samrat, and Suvinder Vicky, has earned him considerable praise. Vishal Vashishtha Discusses TV Actors' Struggles
Many actors from television have voiced their concerns about being judged by the film industry due to their television backgrounds. Some have mentioned difficulties in landing significant roles, often feeling overlooked because of their origins in TV. During our conversation, we asked Vishal about his thoughts on this issue. He shared that he has not personally faced such obstacles in his career. Vishal explained, “I haven’t encountered this yet. I think a big reason is my limited presence on social media and at events. I’ve concentrated on my work and kept my circle small, which has helped me avoid the stereotype of a TV actor. This wasn’t a deliberate choice, but it has worked in my favor as I transitioned to web and film projects.”
Vishal is making a name for himself in the digital space. Reflecting on his shift from television to OTT platforms, he noted, “The transition has been gradual and patient. I believe my patience has paid off, allowing me to enhance my acting skills. There’s still much ahead of me. My journey is just beginning, and I’m looking forward to the releases this year.”

Actors often seek to push their boundaries to demonstrate their talents. When asked if he would consider roles outside his comfort zone, Vishal expressed his eagerness to take on challenges. He remarked, “I’ve had opportunities to stretch my limits over the past few years. I hope that when these projects are released, audiences will appreciate them.”
Regarding his future projects, he mentioned, “I’m in an excited phase right now. All the work I’ve done over the past year is set to be released, and thankfully, they are all quite varied. I hope the audience welcomes me in these different roles.” Vishal is currently busy with his upcoming projects but has not revealed any specific details yet.
