Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's Spiritual Retreat: A Heartfelt Encounter in Vrindavan
A Special Visit to Vrindavan
New Delhi: Renowned Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, accompanied by his wife Anushka Sharma, recently made a spiritual journey to Vrindavan, where they engaged in a meaningful dialogue with Premanand Ji Maharaj at the Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Ashram located at Varah Ghat.
This visit marks the couple's third trip to the ashram this year, having previously visited in January with their children and again in May, shortly after Kohli's announcement regarding his retirement from Test cricket.
During their time with Maharaj Ji, Anushka appeared deeply moved as she listened to his teachings. He encouraged them to view their work as a form of service, to live earnestly, maintain humility, and to engage in the practice of chanting the divine name. He emphasized the importance of yearning for a glimpse of the Almighty.
Kohli nodded in agreement as Maharaj Ji elaborated on the idea that true happiness comes from seeking God, suggesting that once one desires only the divine, all other happiness will follow.
Anushka expressed her devotion by stating, 'We belong to you, Maharaj ji.' In response, Maharaj Ji reminded them, 'We all belong to Shri Ji. We are under his divine care, as we are all his children.'
