Vipul Roy Files Police Complaint
Actor Vipul Roy, known for his role in the series FIR, has lodged a complaint against his maid, accusing her of stealing valuable possessions from his residence, including foreign currency, gold, and diamonds. The complaint was filed at the Khar police station on Tuesday, prompting an investigation by local authorities. Police are currently collecting details about the maid before proceeding with any actions.
In his report, Vipul claims that the maid, identified as Dipali Kharwa, took foreign currency valued at Rs 5 lakh along with gold and diamond jewelry worth Rs 2 lakh. He stated that he had hired her through an online service and that she had previously worked in his home multiple times.
Details of the Allegations
As per reports, Vipul discovered the theft when he was preparing to leave for work and checked his cupboard drawers, only to find several valuable items missing. The police noted that the complaint was filed after he returned from an overseas trip.
According to the complaint, the stolen items included 30 $100 bills, 7,000 dirhams, and 14,500 Thai baht, totaling Rs 5 lakh, along with a silver bracelet worth Rs 85,000 and gold diamond rings valued at Rs 1.25 lakh. Despite the incident, Vipul has not yet addressed the theft on his social media platforms.
