New Delhi: Vijender Singh, the renowned actor and boxer, has shown his support for comedian Rajpal Yadav by inviting him to be part of his forthcoming film directed by Sanjay Sanju Saini.


On Sunday, Singh took to his X account to express his admiration for Yadav, highlighting his significant contributions to Indian cinema.


He stated, "I have great respect for genuine talent. @rajpalofficial has made a substantial impact on Indian cinema, bringing joy to audiences through various roles. I would like to invite Rajpal Yadav ji to collaborate with me on my upcoming film, which is penned and helmed by @thesanjusaini. We aim to support him during this challenging time. #rajpalyadav."

The filmmaker also chimed in, stating that having Yadav on board would be a boon for the project. He remarked, "We would love to see @rajpalofficial Sir on our set. Rajpal Yadav's Current Situation

Rajpal Yadav, celebrated for his roles in films like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Waqt, Phir Hera Pheri, Partner, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Hungama, and Chup Chup Ke, recently faced legal issues, resulting in his incarceration at Tihar jail after the Delhi High Court denied his request for additional time to settle a cheque-bounce case. He is required to repay nearly Rs 9 crore.


In light of his situation, fellow actors Sonu Sood, Gurmeet Chaudhary, and music composer Rao Inderjit Yadav have stepped forward to provide financial aid to Yadav's family and have encouraged others to contribute as well.
