Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna's Private Wedding Sparks Curiosity
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna Tie the Knot
On February 26, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna celebrated their marriage in a private ceremony held in Udaipur, attended by close family and friends. While fans rejoiced over their union, a video featuring filmmaker and actor Rishab Shetty has garnered significant attention. During a public event in Mantralayam, when asked about Rashmika's wedding, Rishab opted for silence and left the scene, prompting various interpretations, especially given his past collaborations with Rashmika and his friendship with her ex-fiancé, Rakshit Shetty.
Rishab Shetty's Silent Response to Wedding Queries
Recently, Rishab Shetty, a national award-winning actor and filmmaker, attended the closing ceremony of Sri Raghavendra Guruvaibhavotsava in Mantralayam. This appearance followed the announcement of his new film, Jai Hanuman, directed by Prashanth Varma. While engaging with the media, he was asked if he had received an invitation to Rashmika's wedding. Rishab, who had been answering questions up to that point, simply smiled, thanked the reporter, and walked away without addressing the inquiry.
Rishab Shetty directed Rashmika's debut Kannada film, Kirik Party. Rashmika was engaged to actor Rakshit Shetty in 2017, but their engagement ended the following year. Over time, public comments have led to speculation about tensions within their circle.
In a previous interview, Rashmika made remarks about her ex-fiancé's production house that drew criticism. Rishab later expressed a preference for collaborating with newcomers, which many interpreted as a subtle response to the situation. Recently, actor Pramod Shetty, another associate from Kirik Party, also mentioned not receiving a wedding invitation, which led to backlash from fans of Rashmika, often referred to as India's National Crush.
