Vedang Raina Excited to Collaborate with Imtiaz Ali in Upcoming Film

Exciting New Project with Imtiaz Ali
Are you finally moving forward with Karan Johar’s Jigra?
Yes, after a long wait, I am thrilled to be working with Imtiaz sir. It feels like a dream come true.
How did you connect with Imtiaz Ali?
We had a casual meeting a while back after the release of my debut series, Archies. We enjoyed a pleasant conversation. About a year or so later, we met again, and he shared his vision for this story, which got me really excited.
Have you watched Imtiaz Ali’s films?
I’ve seen nearly all of his films except for his debut, Socha Na Tha. Rockstar and Chamkila are among my favorites, but I also love Jab We Met and Tamasha. He has a unique ability to portray human emotions and dilemmas in a poetic manner.
Your first project was with Zoya Akhtar, your second with Karan Johar, and now you’re working with Imtiaz Ali. Are you satisfied with your career trajectory?
Absolutely. I’m focused and dedicated to my work. I recognize the significance of being part of an Imtiaz Ali film and the caliber of the ensemble cast. I am committed to delivering my best performance without excuses. I feel a strong motivation and passion to succeed.
Is it intimidating to work alongside Naseeruddin Shah in Imtiaz Ali’s film?
It’s both intimidating and thrilling. I have spent countless hours watching Naseer Saab’s acting lectures and took notes as a budding actor, which I still refer to. Meeting him was a true honor.
Are you preparing for Imtiaz’s film?
Preparation has already started to some extent, including some look tests. We expect to begin shooting in August.
