Vashu Bhagnani's Ongoing Legal Issues

Bollywood producer Vashu Bhagnani is making headlines due to his ongoing conflict with the creators of the upcoming film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, featuring Varun Dhawan and directed by David Dhawan. Reports suggest that he may face legal action from PVR Inox Pictures regarding a three-film agreement worth Rs 100 crore. Allegedly, PVR Inox Ltd’s distribution division had a deal with Puja Entertainment for films such as Mission Raniganj, Ganapath, and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, with a refundable advance of approximately Rs 100 crore. However, the underwhelming performance of these films has triggered a refund clause, and Bhagnani reportedly has not settled the outstanding amount despite multiple reminders. PVR Inox Pictures has since denied these allegations.

PVR Inox Pictures Responds to Allegations

In an official statement, PVR Inox Pictures addressed the recent media reports, stating, "We have observed a recent article regarding PVR Inox Pictures and Mr. Vashu Bhagnani. The information presented is misleading and speculative, failing to accurately represent the facts or the nature of our relationship." They emphasized that their professional relationship with the Bhagnani family has been longstanding and amicable, built on years of collaboration and mutual respect. The statement also highlighted that discussing commercial arrangements publicly is inappropriate.

PVR Inox Pictures commended Jackky Bhagnani for managing the interactions between the two companies, noting his professionalism and dedication to his father's legacy. They expressed appreciation for their constructive and collaborative engagements with him over the years. The distributor reiterated its commitment to maintaining strong industry relationships and conducting business transparently, urging media outlets to verify information before drawing conclusions based on unverified reports.

As of now, Vashu Bhagnani has not publicly addressed the allegations made against him.
