Following the announcement from Yash regarding the postponement of his highly anticipated film 'Toxic' from June 4, Varun Dhawan's upcoming comedy 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai' has also shifted its release date. Initially, the film was moved up from its original June 5 date to avoid a clash with 'Toxic'. However, with the latter's delay, 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai' is now set to return to its original release date of June 5.

New Release Date for 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai'

This film marks a reunion between Varun Dhawan and his father, director David Dhawan, following their previous collaborations on 'Judwaa 2' and 'Main Tera Hero'. Known for their comedic films, this time Varun is joined by Pooja Hegde and Mrunal Thakur. The latest update indicates that 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai', which was initially slated for May 22, will now debut on June 5, just two weeks later. This change was confirmed shortly after Yash's announcement regarding 'Toxic'. Interestingly, June 5 was the film's original release date, which had been set months in advance. After 'Toxic' was postponed from March 19, the team behind Varun's film decided to move their release forward to avoid competition.

Reasons for 'Toxic' Postponement

Yash has explained that although 'Toxic' is complete, the production team is still working on finalizing global distribution and partnerships. Given that the situation in the Middle East is not fully stabilized, they require additional time to ensure a successful release in that region. As 'Toxic' is being marketed internationally, Yash and the team are committed to not compromising their global release strategy. A new release date will be announced once everything is in order for 'Toxic'.

Bollywood's June Lineup

June is shaping up to be an exciting month for Bollywood, with a variety of films set to be released. Kicking off the month is 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai', a full-fledged comedy. Following this, Imtiaz Ali's 'Main Vapas Aaunga' will premiere on June 12, featuring Diljit Dosanjh, Vedang Raina, and Sharvari, promising to bring back the romantic essence that Imtiaz is celebrated for. On June 19, audiences can look forward to 'Cocktail 2', starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna.
